Chad Hostetter, UXO Vice President, hails from Lexington, VA and currently resides in New Brockton, AL with his wife and two children. Chad served his country in the U.S. Army for over 21 years and retired from active duty in 2018. Chad loves the eradication of feral swine from the local area and giving farmers in the Wiregrass area their land. He also enjoys the occasional round of golf with friends, spending time with his family, and cooking anything on the grill. His true passion for taking care of others intensified with his involvement in UXO, enabling him to connect with people across the world. As the Vice President of UXO, Chad “is grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our most precious asset, the people who serve within their communities.” Being able to provide once in a lifetime experiences for some of our veterans and connect with them is truly a rewarding and humbling experience.

Tony Jennings, UXO Board Chairman, calls Enterprise, Alabama, home.  He works at Fort RUCKER as a weather technician. Tony is a disabled veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served over 6 years before being medically discharged. He is married to his beautiful wife Megan, and they have three children: Addison, Colton, and Callen. Tony grew up in the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and playing baseball.  He went on to play both baseball and soccer in college. “I met the guys from UXO at a hog hunt on Ft. Rucker while volunteering as a guide. After spending a couple of days with them and hearing about what they were doing, I knew I needed to be a part of it”. Since joining, Tony has been able to spend time in the great outdoors with the true heroes of our country and some great kids. “There are no words to describe what it means to me to be able to GIVE BACK IN A SMALL WAY TO THOSE WHO GAVE SO MUCH FOR US, OR BEING ABLE TO SEE THE SMILE ON THE FACE OF A KID AFTER THEIR FIRST HARVEST."

Ross Nelson, UXO Treasurer, grew up on a small family farm in Minnesota. Ross has served in the United States Army for over 23 years and still remains on active duty. As an Army Aviator, he has operational and combat deployments to Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq, and Kuwait (also a short visit to Afghanistan but not a deployment). ROSS’S hunting and fishing experience stems from a young age. HE WAS guided by the wits of his Father and Uncles. He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping, hiking) and sharing experiences with others; especially his kids. Ross has lived through all of the frustrations of trying to find land to hunt, water to fish all while trying to figure out the local rules and regulations. "I want to help not only my family but those we support at UXO experience the rewards and challenges of being outdoors and accomplishing your goals". He has been married to his wife Jennifer for over 22 years with whom he shares three children.

Andrew Odom, UXO Board Secretary, resides in Opelika, AL with wife and daughter. If you do not find him in the woods you can find him cheering on his Auburn Tigers at any sporting event throughout the year. Growing up in rural southern Alabama, Andrew's passion for the outdoors began at a young age as he followed in his father’s footsteps. His desire for exposing others to the outdoors started early on as well by taking children, family, friends or anyone that showed an interest in hunting or fishing. UXO has provided the essentials for helping Andrew have a positive impact on more people each year and teaching them a passion that he has adored his whole life. The main reason he joined is to give back to the men and women that have sacrificed so much for this country. Andrew's obsession for the outdoors runs deep and being able to GIVE BACK IN A WAY OF DOING SOMETHING HE LOVES, IS EXTREMELY REWARDING.
