The Midwest Region is actively conducting events in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma.  Whether it’s waterfowl, whitetail, quail, pheasant, turkey, or fishing, we have it all covered!  As we continue to grow, we will be actively seeking to expand activities and gain a footprint in the other states within the region.  In order to accomplish this, we will also need to grow our staff so that we can have a presence in Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan.  If you or someone you know has the desire to give back to those in our communities who have given so much of themselves, we would love to hear from you!  Click on the “CONTACT” link under “ABOUT UXO” and let us know more about yourself!  Also, visit our booth at the Missouri State Fair’s Matthewson Exhibition Center during Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, 11 August 2019.  We will have some swag for sale and will be raffling off a brand new Stihl MS211 chainsaw, complete with carrying case!

Jeff Miller, GENERAL MANAGER FOR THE MIDWEST REGION, calls the Kansas City, MO area home. He is a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Army, and is still serving in the Army Reserves. While an avid outdoorsman, his true passion (aside from golf and fishing) lies in providing and managing a bountiful habitat for the deer, turkey, quail, pheasant, and various other wildlife species that are native to his 310-acre farm in North Central Missouri. He and his brother are third generation owners of the farm. As a member of UXO, Jeff values most the opportunity to give back to the patriots who serve our nation and its communities. “My Grandfather and Father made many sacrifices to be able to hand this ground down to my brother and me. Being able to share it with others, especially those who serve our country and our communities, is what we enjoy most, and it is a lasting tribute to Dad and Grandpa. That’s what they would want.”
